Members — and friends — of the New York Council Navy League are invited to join us for an online social gathering to celebrate Fleet Week and the sea services. The evening will include:
updates from key committee chairs on upcoming events and volunteer opportunities
a talk with best-selling author and retired Navy Commander Rick Campbell about his latest military thrillers, his ties to the sea services and his continued support of youth programs
a virtual speednetworking session to let you meet fellow members and make connections with others who support the sea services
We hope you can join us for this free and fun evening and encourage you to bring a friend or colleague.

If you are only able to attend the speednetworking portion starting at 7:00 P.M., you can register and check in separately by 7:05 P.M. the day of the event. You will meet up to five fellow supporters of the sea services, so bring your best sea stories!

Step 2: Proceed to create your login and register for the event
Step 3: Proceed until you have completed your event matching profile and matching survey selections.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Step 1: CHECK IN - IT’S REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE
Within 24 hours of the event, you are required to "Check In" to validate your participation. Failure to "Check In" will result in not being scheduled any meetings. Don’t worry we will send some reminders.
Step 2: PARTICIPATE
5 Minutes before the beginning of the event log back into the website app.speednetworking.com
Navigate to your specific event (Hint: scroll down on the home page to find your event, then select it.)
Within a minute or two of the event start time you will see “See Meeting Schedule” – select this
You will enter your schedule of meetings lobby. When it’s time for the first meeting, select “Join Video Meeting” and repeat for your second round. Don’t worry! It’s all automated and timed with everyone else.
