To commemorate the founding of the United States Coast Guard, the New York Council is proud to be a sponsor of this year's Coast Guard Day at USCG Sector New York. The event, to be held on Wednesday, August 4, will offer refreshments and recreational activities for service men and women and their families.
If you would like to take part in the festivities, all Council members who would like to take part as a volunteer are welcome to attend. If you would like to volunteer, you will only be asked to help for a short portion of the event with one of the following: setting up for the event, helping with clean-up afterwards, staffing the kids' area and staffing our Council's table to assist with membership recruitment. Outside of volunteer tasks, members will be able to enjoy all of Coast Guard Day's food and events.
