The Coast Guard Memorial Statue was created in 1947 and first dedicated in 1955. The monument is intended to honor those from the Coast Guard who served our country during World War II. It is being rededicated on the occasion of being moved to a prominent display area in front of the USCG Battery Building, where our staff office is located.
