New York City Pickle Night

American Friends of the National Museum of the Royal Navy cordially invite you to attend NEW YORK CITY PICKLE NIGHT.

This year marks the 215th anniversary of the history-making Battle of Trafalgar and the 15th New York City Pickle Night observance. This event is named for Her Majesty’s Schooner PICKLE, the smallest British ship at the Battle, which brought the important news to London of the battle victory and Nelson’s death.

Those interested in the historical significance of the battle and the astonishing life of Admiral Lord Nelson as well as an illustration of the “Special Relationship” between our two navies are invited to “attend” this special VIRTUAL event.

Join AFNMRN to travel via live video to Portsmouth, England. Be welcomed by First Sea Lord Admiral Tony Radakin to his Flagship HMS VICTORY, and take an exclusive tour of the oldest navy ship in commission, which was Lord Nelson’s flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar.

Registration with ticket purchase is required. For those unable to join us live, the recording will be available to registrants from noon EST the following day. Click here to register and purchase your ticket. Funds raised through your donations will support the preservation of the Museum’s historic naval fleet, including HMS VICTORY.

For queries, please email American.Friends@nmrn.org.uk or call the New York offices at +1 (212) 840-1166

American Friends of the National Museum of the Royal Navy (AFNMRN), is recognized as a US 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and donations are tax deductible. This is not a New York Council Navy League event but is a long-standing annual favorite of many of our members.
