Fleet Support

We provide direct financial support and host morale events for ten sea service units in the New York metro area, plus USS New York, USS Cooperstown and USCGC Clarence Sutphin. We help fill the budget gaps for these units and support families while service members are deployed. We support nearly 8,000 sea service members annually, including close to 3,000 Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen who visit during Fleet Week New York.

Education & Advocacy

Our National Security Briefing Series, founded by Naval Historian RADM Joe Callo, USN (Ret.) in 2014, brings in senior military leaders and other security experts to speak to our members, corporate co-sponsors and the public. We also host the New York Maritime Security Conference and many other educational events open to the public, participate in advocacy work with elected officials and are supporters of the Coast Guard Art Program’s 2,000-piece collection of fine art.

Youth Programs

We provide funding for more than 1,800 members of local Young Marines, Naval Sea Cadet Corps, Marine Corps Junior ROTC and Navy Junior ROTC units. Our financial support includes transportation to military drills meets, tours of military academies and other trips, uniforms and equipment, STEM programs and academic stipends. We also seek ways to connect youth program participants with sea service personnel and our members for mentoring and other opportunities.
