Naval Command College Foreign Officers Reception
Start Time: 6:30 PM
End Time: 8:30 PM
Venue: New York Athletic Club

Established in 1956, the Naval Command College of the U.S. Naval War College brings together specially selected senior international naval officers to develop skills in national security decision making, build strategy and policy analytical frameworks, and gain expertise in joint war-fighting doctrine. The program increases understanding of U.S. institutions and society, prepares these officers for higher command responsibilities, and increases cooperation among navies of the world in order to foster peaceful use of the seas, diffuse crises, and when necessary, work together to fight and win our nations' wars.

Upon completion of their eleven months of graduate-level studies, the officers complete the field studies and cultural exchange portion of their training with a capstone trip to NYC. The New York Council is pleased to play a role in this by hosting an annual reception for program graduates, their familes and Naval War College staff.

This year's reception will be held October 11, 6:30–8:30 P.M. at the New York Athletic Club. Discounted tickets for Navy League members (one per member) are $50; full price non-member tickets are $110.
