Young Marines

The mission of the River Town Young Marines is to positively impact America's future, by providing quality youth development programs for boys and girls ages 8–18 they can nurture and develop its members into responsible citizens who enjoy and promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

The New York Council is proud to support the River Towns Young Marines, led by Advisory Committee member Lu Caldara.


Meetings are held Fridays, 7:30–9:30 P.M. at the Sleepy Hollow Senior Center.

26th, Sunday: “Veterans Appreciation Day”. Rye Playland. 10:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M. Uniform: Red T-shirts

“Field of Flags”. Placing the flags for honored Veterans. Kensico Dam Park 4:00-5:00 P.M. Uniform: Red T-shirts.

 

27th, Monday: Memorial Day Parade. White Plains. 9:30 A.M. Church St, White Plains. YM Uniform

30th, Thursday: Memorial Day Parade, 6:30 P.M. Mamaroneck. Mamaroneck Ave. Elementary School. Ends at American Legion Post. Uniform: Red T-shirts.

 

      June

8th, Saturday: Ossining Street Fair. Young Marines Booth at #25. Setup at

10:00 A.M. Fair start Noon. Uniform with Red T-Shirt.

 

14th, Friday: Flag Day Ceremonies, 6:30 P.M. Mamaroneck Elks Club, Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. Food served. Families invited. Uniform.


 

      October

20th, Sunday: Red Ribbon Week Walk. Tibbetts Brook Park, Yonkers. 1:00-3:00 P.M. Red T-Shirt, Sweats, Sneakers. Public and Family invited.

 

26th, Saturday: “Light the Night” Leukemia Walk. Saturday 5:00 P.M. Rye

Playland Playland Parkway. Uniform

14th, Saturday: “Wreaths Across America.” Saturday Noon. Gate of Heaven
