      2017 CMA CGM T Roosevelt Sep 7

On Thursday September 7, 2017, the CMA CGM T. Roosevelt became the largest cargo ship to call on an East Coast port. This ultra-large container vessel, or ULCV, measures 1200 feet long and over 157 feet wide. To accommodate vessels of this size, New York Harbor officials raised the Bayonne Bridge by sixty-four feet and dredged the harbor.
